With my new computer I also bought a Wacom Bamboo tablet . It’s small but actually a lot better to work with than the large ones I used at my highschool. The smallness doesn’t really effect how large you can draw and its a lot easier to get used to. I haven’t tried any photo editing or anything with it yet but I’ve been playing around with some digital painting.
Before I had this I worked with mouse painting, which is hard but still fun.
Here are a few old paintings that I did.
The first thing I tried was an eye, because I love drawing eyes and I think I’m pretty good at it.
Then for my Graphic Design 2 class the teacher wanted us to paint something and I wanted to do something basic just to practice blending and shadows
So I painted an apple. I’m not happy with the shadow but I think its okay
Then I was just playing around and painted some hair, I think it still needs work and I’ll probably re-try it with my tablet
Now what I’ve been working on with my tablet

This is based off of a photo I took of my sister.
I don’t really want to paint the hands but I can’t figure out the body without them, lol so for now they are non-existent. I also changed the mouth a bit because it looked odd when I sketched it out.
